Bernadene Dykstra, 89, went home to be with her Lord on July 15, 2020. Bernadene was born September 11, 1930 in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of Albert and Anna (Hut) Cramer. On Veterans Day November 11, 1949 she was united in marriage to John E. Dykstra.

She was a longtime member of the Comstock Christian Reformed Church, where she participated in many activities. She loved her family, evidenced by the many pictures on her walls. Bernadene enjoyed bowling up until the age of 87. She was an avid gardener, loved knitting and crocheting and we all enjoyed her baking. Bernadene loved traveling and camping, spending time with friends and visits from her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Bernadene was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Dykstra; her parents; and siblings, Henrietta Linders, Walter, Vernon and Herman Cramer.

Surviving are her children, John (Kathy) Dykstra, Joanne (Ken) Smit, David Dykstra, Sharron (Donn) Lemmer, Barbara (Tim) Wichmann, Timothy (Sharon) Dykstra and Debra (Ron) Heystek; 28 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, John (Betty) Cramer, Dean (Kathy) Cramer, Allen (Sally) Cramer; in-laws, Rod Linders, Muriel Cramer and Darlene Cramer; and several nieces and nephews.
