Russell D. Bohm Sr., 86, of Dryden, passed away July 8, 2020. He was born May 24, 1934 in Detroit, the son of Michael and Hazel Bohm. He was retired from Pipefitters Local 636. After his retirement he owned and operated Bohm Heating and Cooling and eventually owned Almont Resale Shop. He was a long time member of the Almont-Dryden Masons. Russell enjoyed going to garage sales, feeding the animals in the yard and caring for his small farm.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; his children, Cheryl Barr of Almont, Tom Barr of Dryden, Russell (Rose) Bohm, Jr. of Richmond; daughter-in-law, Vicky Barr of Dryden; grandchildren, John (Anna) Signorino, Brandi Varicalli, Jarod (Kim) Barr, Autumn Barr, Chase Barr, Lance Barr, Lisa Bohm, Nicholas Bohm and Benjamin (Angela) Bohm; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Also surviving are his sisters, Shirley McAfee, Patricia Smith, Barbara Weiss and Ellen Zebrejewski; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Don Barr; his first wife, Virginia Dare; his second wife, Kathryn; and one brother, Michael.

Cremation was entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Almont.

The family is planning a graveside memorial at a later date.
