The Imlay City Schools Alumni Association is pleased to announce the 2020 Imlay City High School scholarship recipients.
The Linda Muir Grant Scholarship was awarded to Kaylee Kaminski. Kaylee will pursue a course of study in physical therapy.
The Lyle and Joyce Powers Scholarship was presented to Hunter Medrano. Hunter plans to undertake a course of study in mechanical engineering.
Three Alumni Association Scholarships were presented to Ross Edson who will pursue a degree in elementary education;
Kaitlyn Evans who will study speech therapy and Ruby Hellebuyck who will undertake a course of study in music.
Each of these five graduates will receive a $2,000 award and are to be congratulated on their
academic achievement and involvement in extra curricular activities.
The Imlay City Schools Alumni Association has awarded 30 scholarships since its inception in 2002. These scholarship funds are the result of generous donations by graduates and friends of the Imlay City Schools. This is their legacy and way of honoring their alma mater.
