Since we cannot return our bottles and cans for deposit I have noticed a big increase in the number of those cans and bottles tossed out of cars on the side of the road. I had to pick up three cans before mowing my lawn. I have a compromised immune system so if the virus is on the cans someone like me could get sick from handling them.
Please save your bottles and cans and donate them to a worthy cause. I know that community groups, like the Band Boosters, were collecting them last week.
