Cecilia Feige, 90, of Howell (formerly of Imlay City), MI died Sunday, May 3, 2020 at home. Cecilia Theresa Boscher was born September 20, 1929 in Detroit, MI. She was the daughter of the late Hermann and the late Elizabeth (Wormlinger) Boscher. Cecilia grew up in Howell, MI. She was a graduate of Howell High School, Class of 1947. She married Louis “Big Lou” Feige on January 21, 1961 in Pinckney, MI. Cecilia and Lou lived in the Imlay City and Brown City areas. She moved back to Howell, MI 11 1/2 years ago to be closer to family and has been with her caregiver and friends, Judith and Bob White since. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lou, on May 10, 2004.

She was employed as a secretary for the automobile industry. In their retirement, Cecilia and Lou owned and operated Old Carriage Craft and Ceramic Shop at Moffit’s Corner.

Cecilia enjoyed oil painting, sewing, reading and traveling the United States.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Feige; her brother, Anthony (Jacqueline) Boscher of Howell; her grandchildren, Kathleen, David, Aaron and Samuel; and her friends and caregiver, Judith and Bob White of Howell, MI.

Cecilia was preceded in death by her husband, Lou Feige; and her daughter, Elizabeth Wellington.

A graveside service was held Friday, May 8, 2020 at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Summers Rd., Burnside (North Branch Twp.), MI. Deacon Pete Lynch, Deacon for Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church in North Branch, MI, officiated.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
