Julie Timmer, 52, of Imlay City, MI died Friday, April 17, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Julie Ann Brinker was born June 27, 1967 in Lapeer, MI. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Judith (Badder) Brinker. Julie lived all of her life in the Imlay City area. She was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1985. She married Curt Lee Timmer on October 17, 1987 in Imlay City, MI.

Julie worked as a dental assistant at Hank Nichols’ Imlay City Dental for four years and at Lapeer Dental for 15 years. Julie was very involved at the Imlay City Schools as a volunteer when her children were in school. She loved to go camping. She enjoyed volunteering for different organizations. Julie had a very bubbly personality, she was very outgoing and knew just about everyone in town.

She is survived by her husband, Curt Timmer; her daughters, Ashley (Tom) Bloomer of South Haven, MI and Leah Timmer of Imlay City, MI; her son, Joshua Timmer of Sterling Heights, MI; her mother, Judith (Badder) Brinker; her granddaughters, Maci and Juniper; three sisters, Deborah (Jim) Beranis, Karen (Joe) Benner and Cynthia (Curt) Shannon; and her brother, Richard Brinker, Jr. She is also survived by her father-in-law, Gary (Amy) Timmer and mother-in-law, Linda Van Putten. Julie was preceded in death by her father, Richard Brinker and a daughter, Kara Timmer.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.

A private family graveside service was held on Monday, April 20 at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 425 S. Blacks Corners Rd., Imlay City, MI. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Imlay City on Monday.
