Ronald Joseph Dean, age 76, of Imlay City passed away on April 13, 2020, in Attica after a long illness. He was born on November 5, 1943, in Lapeer County. Ron married Gladys Yax on June 20, 1980, in Elba, MI. Son of the late Ronald and Doris Dean.
Ron served honorably in the United States Navy. He enjoyed golfing and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Dean of Imlay City; son, Joseph (Melissa) Dean of Wapakoneta, OH; son, Jeffrey Dean of Wapakoneta, OH; daughter, Wendy Graham (Jessica Sebesta) of Needville, TX; daughter, Amy Potvin of Clarkston. Grandchildren, Dereck Dean, Darin Dean, Lucas Potvin, Christopher Sebesta and Paige Smith. Brothers, John Dean, Lavern Dean and Glenn Dean.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Shirley Knaggs and Barbara Mauk.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be held at Arcadia Township Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements are in care of the Jowett Funeral Home, 1639 Lapeer Avenue, Port Huron.
