CAPAC — Cornerstone University’s Michael Foster, a Capac High School graduate, was his team’s pitcher of record in a 9-1 triumph against Judson on Wednesday, February 26.
Auburndale, Florida is where the action unfolded.
With the outcome, Cornerstone improved to 1-6 overall. Judson slipped to 1-4 this season.
Foster, a sophomore, worked six innings en route to the favorable verdict. He allowed four hits, struck out four and issued a pair of walks along the way.
He exited in the seventh inning due to a tight back.
It was his first career start.
