The John Crawford Chapter DAR wishes to thank the community for their assistance in collecting more than 3,000 pair of shoes. The shoes will be sent to a developing country to help micro entrepreneurs start a business and support their families.
Special thanks goes to the Ruth Hughes Memorial District Library and On the Avenue Salon in Imlay City, and the Almont District Library for serving as collection sites for the shoe drive.
