Deborah L. Woodcox, 63, of Almont, passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 10, 1956 in Lapeer the daughter of David and Eva (Breen) Owen.

She owned a small lawn care business in Almont, mostly helping out the elderly in the community, and also worked for her cousin Randy Breen in his lawn care business.

Among her hobbies she enjoyed gardening, painting, floral arranging, crocheting and her trips to the casinos. Debbie was a loving mother and grandmother and liked to stay busy, she lived life to its fullest.

She is survived by her two sons, Byron (Dana) McCowen of Henderson, NV and Mike (Liz) Woodcox of Almont; grandchildren, Ava and Stone McCowen of Henderson, NV and Logan and Ian Hicks of Almont.

She is also survived by her siblings, Doretta Thompson of St. Johns, David (Marlene) Owen of Almont and Janice (Ken) Deaton of Port Hope (formerly of Almont); and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Bob Woodcox.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Almont.
