Michael Marceau, age 70, of Attica, MI died Sunday, January 26, 2020 at United Hospice Residence of Marlette, MI. Michael Charles Marceau was born June 12, 1949 in Detroit, MI. He was the son of the late LeRoy and the late Margaret (Kean) Marceau. Michael grew up in Eastpointe, MI. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic School in Roseville and East Detroit High School in Eastpointe, MI. Michael joined the United States Navy in 1967 during the Vietnam War. He married Tina May Gerrard on June 2, 1978 in Sterling Heights, MI. They had lived in Warren, MI before moving to Attica in the mid 1980s.

Mike was employed as a project manager and a quality control manager for 28 years at the United States Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) in Warren, MI and later at Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Harrison Township, MI. Mike’s specialty was design, development and repair of wheeled and tracked vehicles. Michael was a charter member of the Vietnam Veterans of America – Chapter 154 in Mt. Clemens, MI. He enjoyed traveling, golfing, fishing and gardening.

Michael is survived by his wife, Tina Marceau; his sons, Matthew Marceau of Clinton Twp., MI, Christopher (Juel) Marceau formerly of Attica, MI and Jeffrey Marceau of Attica, MI; his sister, Donna (John) Esposito; three brothers, John (Jai) Marceau, Edward (Kate) Marceau and Patrick (Deb) Marceau; and his four grandchildren: Ariya, Jacob, Kelin and Zaeris.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Peg Marceau.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Deacon Thomas Yezak will officiate.

The family will be available for visitation from 4-8 p.m., Friday, January 31 and 10-11 a.m., February 1 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.

Interment will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2020 at Christian Memorial Cultural Cemetery, 521 E. Hamline Rd., Rochester Hills, MI.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
