Tickets are already sold out for

Sat., Feb. 1 Gala event in Lum

IMLAY CITY — Imlay City Chamber of Commerce Director Shannon Hamel said tickets are no longer available for the annual Dinner-Dance and Awards Night at Castle Creek Golf Club on Saturday, Feb. 1.

Doors open at The Castle at 5:30 p.m., to be followed by the traditional awards ceremony, dinner and entertainment.

“We’re totally sold out,” said Hamel. “There are no tickets left. The support for this year’s award winners has been so great that we’ve run out of room.”

The Chamber’s 2019 award recipients include Ron Rickard, Citizen of the Year; Barb Yockey and Frank Demske, Merit Award winners; and Ag-Community Relief, 2019 Organization of the Year.

State Rep. Gary Howell presents a special tribute to last year’s Citizen of the Year honoree Julie Salsido.

Besides the award presentations, attendees will enjoy dinner, beverages and live entertainment from the Remix Band.

“We’re looking forward to the huge turnout and expect that a great time will be had by all,” Hamel continued.

“This event is a once-a-year opportunity for our business community and residents to come together and celebrate and honor some of Imlay City’s most outstanding citizens, businesses and organizations.”

Castle Creek Golf Club is located at 5191 Lum Rd. in Lum.

Last year’s award recipients were Julie Salsido, Citizen of the Year; Doug Halabicky, Merit Award and Vlasic was honored as Organization of the Year.
