DRYDEN — Dryden obtained a 59-50 road triumph against Genesee in a varsity boys’ basketball encounter last Friday night.
With the decision, Dryden moves to 5-3 this season.
In Friday’s encounter, Dryden took a 17-10 advantage after one quarter was over with and increased their cushion to 34-21 at the halftime break.
When the action resumed, Genesee bounced back with a 15-11 third quarter edge. That closed the gap to 45-36 with 24 minutes gone.
Dryden and Genesee then hit for 14 points each the rest of the way, leaving the former with a 59-50 win to celebrate at night’s end.
Coulter Waite led Dryden with 17 points. He was backed by Jack Kaplan (14 points), Nate Schenkel (12), Ethan Ledford (nine), Ronny Hudson (four), Evan Shirling (two) and Harry Atkinson (one).
