John Marino Santi, 59, of Mussey Township, died Saturday, January 4, 2020, at McLaren Port Huron Hospital.
He was born in Detroit, July 1, 1960, the son of the late Marino and Judith (Holland) Santi.
His marriage to Cynthia Kiernicki was September 21, 1984, in Detroit.
For 20 years, John worked with his father at Santi Tile in Fraser. He later went on to work for Michigan Condo for five years. John was the owner and operator of Jocco Contracting for 16 years. Lastly, he worked for the United States Post Office, Port Huron, starting in June 2019. John attended St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Capac. He enjoyed hunting, playing cards, horseshoes, and golfing and bowling in the Men’s League at Holly Meadows Golf Course, Capac.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Cindi; are three daughters, Alexandra (Brian) Masters of Shelby Twp., Natalia (Ryan) Manager of New Baltimore and Shelbie (Corry) Reed of St. Clair Shores; five grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Cody, Liam and Dakota; his mother, Judith; sisters, Kathi (Steve) Wright and Kristine (Tom) Walsh; brother, David (Lisa) Santi; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
The family honors the memory of John and invites you to visit and share memories Thursday, January 9, 2020, from 2-8 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac, with rosary devotion/scripture services at 6 p.m. Rite of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. John’s the Eve Catholic Church, Allenton, with 10 a.m. visiting. Fr. Michael Gawlowski, pastor will officiate.
