IMLAY CITY — Imlay City rolled past visiting Richmond, 60-13, in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity girls’ basketball clash last Friday night.
In Friday’s clash, Imlay City charged out to a 20-2 advantage after one quarter was done and widened the gap to 40-5 at halftime.
When the action resumed, Imlay City struck with a 17-2 third quarter advantage. That increased their cushion to 57-7 after 24 minutes.
Richmond then bounced back with a 6-3 fourth quarter edge, only to fall 60-13.
Mary Lengemann led Imlay City with 10 points. She was backed by Abigail Thibodeau and Mackenzie Allen (nine points each), Kayla Rossen (eight), Delayna Osko, Jaya Forti and Lily Lengemann (six apiece), Isabella Aune (four) and Madison Ross (two).
