Reginald “Reggie” Madeline, age 71, of Attica, MI died Monday, October 21, 2019 at Ascension Genesys Hospital of Grand Blanc, MI. Reginald David Madeline was born October 8, 1948 in Attica, MI. He was the son of the late Augustine and the late Vera (Willin) Madeline. Reggie grew up in Attica. He was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1968.
He was employed as a final/finish repairman for General Motors Corporation for 30 years before retiring in 2000. Reggie worked at the GM – Pontiac Motors plant for several years and retired from the General Motors – Orion Plant.
Reggie was a former volunteer firefighter for Attica, MI. He loved to cook, barbeque, travel and go to the casinos.
He is survived by his loving companion of 26 years, Marlene Hampton of Attica, MI; two daughters, Gloria (Anthony) Parsons of Mancelona, MI and Amanda (Brad) Matherly of Virginia, two sons, Martin Madeline of Lapeer, MI and Reginald (Erin) Madeline, Jr. of South Lyon, MI; four brothers, Phillip (Frances) Madeline of Attica, MI, Earl (Judy) Madeline of Attica, MI, Nicholas (Patricia) Madeline of Lake Orion, MI and Jack (Cheryl) Madeline of Nevada; two stepsons, Robert Vallance of Lapeer, MI and Steven Hampton of Lapeer, MI; and his step-daughter, Kelli Fellmy of Lapeer, MI. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Angel, Anthony, River, Ava, Grace, Sara, Sofia, Bailey and Hunter; and five step-grandchildren, Tyler, Kayla, Haley, T.J. and Robert.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Vera Madeline; brother, Paul Madeline; five sisters, Marcia Madeline, Margaret Madeline, Christine Trudeau, Doris Schwerin, and Carolyn (Richard) Weber; and stepson, Thomas Hampton.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
