
The Capac boys’ cross country team won the GTC East League Meet last week.
CAPAC — The Capac boys’ cross country team placed four of their runners among the top- ten finishers en route to a first at the Greater Thumb Conference East League Meet on Tuesday, October 15.
Laker High School is where the meet was contested.
Capac’s winning total that day was 32 points. They were followed by Memphis (47 points), Ubly (87) plus Brown City and Harbor Beach (98 each).
Marlette and Sandusky also participated but did not field complete squads.
Charlie Aldrich, third, 18:04.76 led Capac that day. The Chiefs also counted results from Hank Barker, sixth, 18:35.7; Ben Rodriguez, seventh, 18:45.42; Logan Swantek, ninth, 18:53.77; and John Schoen, 11th; 19:05.49.
