Shaniah Skinner, age 24, of Imlay City, MI died suddenly Thursday, October 10, 2019 as a result of an auto accident.
Shaniah Jade Skinner was born July 9, 1995 in Flint, MI. She was the daughter of Patrick and Sandy (Smith) Skinner. Shaniah has lived her entire life in the Imlay City area. She was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 2013.
She was employed by McDonald’s Restaurant in Imlay City for eight years, mostly recently as a manager.
Shaniah enjoyed bonfires, camping, friends and her dog Pudge.
She is survived by father, Patrick Michael; her mother, Sandy Jo (Smith) Skinner; three sisters, Abigail Skinner, Shyanne Skinner and Jazmin Skinner; two brothers, Bryar Skinner and Jose Sanchez; her grandmother, Denise Bucholtz; and grandfather, Timothy Skinner.
Shaniah was preceded in death by her grandmother, Christine (Edmonson) Skinner; and her grandfather, Ricky Smith.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life is being held at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Imlay City Fraternal Order of Eagles, 170 S. Almont Ave., Imlay City, MI.
Arrangements were made by Muir Brothers Funeral Home, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
