Richard “Rick” Gonda, 64, of Attica, MI died Wednesday, October 9, 2019.
Rick was born June 19, 1955 in Lapeer to John and Mary Lee (Hunter) Gonda. He graduated from Imlay City High School, class of 1973. Rick went on to work 33 years at Ford Motor Company, retiring in 2007. He married Tamey Irene Jones on August 20, 2004 in Lapeer.
Rick is survived by his wife, Tamey; three sons, Chad John (Carly) Gonda of Attica, MI, Adam John Gonda of Berkley, MI and Jonathan Levi Gonda of Clearwater, FL; mother, Mary Lee Lamb of North Branch, MI; three stepchildren, Justin Keely of Flint, MI, Katrina Keely of Clinton Township, MI and Lorina (Joseph) Wells of North Branch, MI; fifteen grandchildren, Austin, Dawson, Tristan, Ashlyn, Emma, Jordan, Izabell, Annabelle-Leigh, Ian, Avery, Novina, Roman, Daniel, Cora and Ava; siblings, Mike (Linda) Gonda of Clinton, TN, Judy (Gregg) Zemmer of Kent City, MI, Lori (Larry) Cline of North Branch, MI and Pam (Al) Martus of North Branch, MI. Rick is also survived by many, many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Gonda and his stepfather, Glenn Lamb.
Rick’s funeral was Monday, October 14, 2019 at Muir Brothers. Pastor Ron Rouse officiated. Burial was at Attica Township Cemetery.
