Thanks to the generosity of Earl Gass, the Imlay City Historical Museum has been able to preserve oral histories recorded in the VHS format.
Rod Soule Studios converted 25 VHS tapes into a DVD format. These oral histories were recorded in the early 1990s by Earl’s father Harold Gass, and include interviews with community members Fricky Whitkopf, Warner Hoeksema, Gene Coscarelli, Joe Shull, Dessie Gass, Reid Sisson, Woody Hoisington, Margaret and Ruth Farley and many more.
We would like to express our gratitude to Earl for funding this project.
