On Tuesday, November 5, residents in the Imlay City School district will have an opportunity to vote to improve our schools with approval of a $36.8 million bond proposal. With voter approval, there will be no increase in the tax rate.
The bond proposal will address several needs in our school district, including much-needed facility maintenance and repairs, improved student safety and instructional learning environments, construction of six new classrooms and a 500-seat performing arts center for student and community use.
As everyone knows, these improvements are long overdue and much needed in order to provide our students with the best education possible. Our community prides itself on promoting excellence in everything we do.
We encourage you to vote and to vote ‘yes’ on the Imlay City School no tax rate increase bond proposal on November 5.
