Linda White, age 72, of Lapeer, formerly of Imlay City, MI died Monday, September 16, 2019 at Stonegate Health Campus of Lapeer, MI. Linda Kay Sekely was born October 14, 1946 in Imlay City, MI. She was the daughter of the late John Sekely and Eleanor (Presley) Sekely. She grew up and lived most of her life in Imlay City, but had lived in Sterling Heights, Roseville, and St. Helen, MI for periods of time. Linda was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1964.
She was a homemaker, raising her family.
Linda is survived by one daughter, Jennifer (Scott) Stier of Wales, MI; one son, Jeffrey Saums of Algonac, MI; her mother, Eleanor Grace (Presley) Sekely; three brothers: Ronald Sekely of Grayling, MI, John (Roxanne) Sekely of Cheboygan, MI and Michael (Jeanne) Sekely of Marquette, MI; and her five grandchildren: Jacquelyn, Danielle, Jonathan, Dawson and Seth.
The funeral was held Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Michelle Lamb officiated.
