TRI-CITY AREA — The Capac, Imlay City and Almont boys’ cross country teams registered respective showings of fifth, sixth and ninth Tuesday, September 17 at the Lapeer County Meet.
North Branch is where the meet was contested.
Lapeer (38 points) paced the field assembled. They were followed by Bad Axe (86 points), Mayville (89), Memphis (91), Capac (132), Imlay City (150), North Branch (156), Kingston (181), Almont (226), Marine City Cardinal Mooney (281) and Ubly (285).
Hank Barker, 13th, 18:26.07; paced Capac. He was backed by Ben Rodriguez, 19th, 18:38.94; John Schoen, 26th, 18:55.54; Logan Swantek, 38th, 19:28.37; and Max Frangedakis. 40th, 19:32.99.
Breydon Andrez, 15th, 18:31.67; led Imlay City. The Spartans also counted results from Mason Wildie, 21st, 18:41.19; Dean Aune, 27th, 18:56.12; Zavier Logan, 44th, 19:40.63; and Aidan Cuthbertson, 49th, 19:59.67.
Lucas Webster, 36th, 19:22.86; Steven Butler, 39th, 19:29.26; Austin Amlotte, 43rd, 19:38.91; Lucas Leid, 61st, 20:45.51; and Tommy Shiner, 64th, 21:04.5 comprised Almont’s top five.
