Craig E. Wagner, age 38, of Dryden, MI died suddenly as a result of a construction site accident, Thursday, September 12, 2019 in Imlay City, MI. Craig Earl Wagner, Jr. was born December 23, 1980 in Lapeer, MI. He was the son of the late Craig Earl and Tamara Lee (Hess) Wagner, Sr. Craig grew up in Dryden. He attended Dryden High School.
He worked on the family farm. He farmed (raising cattle and selling hay); he worked in construction laying block, installing over-head doors, and as an equipment operator for a construction company.
Craig married Jaclynn Rae Olterman on December 1, 2018 in Dryden, MI. Craig enjoyed gardening, farming, spending time with their children, and working with and on his John Deere tractors. He had been a member of the Imlay City Eagles.
Craig is survived by his wife, Jaclynn Rae (Olterman) Wagner; their children, Mackienzye Olterman, Thairon Wagner, Tristin Wagner, William Shick and Tucker Wagner; his mother, Tamara Lee (Marty) Jurn of Attica; a sister, Amanda (Randy) Sweeney-Harris of Attica, MI; a brother, Andrew (Jennifer) Wagner of Attica, MI; and his grandparents, Nicholas and Patricia Wagner of Dryden, MI.
Craig was preceded in death by his father, Craig Earl Wagner, Sr.; and grandparents, Rita and Albert Hess.
The funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
The family will be available for visiting hours from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 18 and from 10 – 11 a.m. Thursday, September 19 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
