The Imlay City girls’ cross country team celebrates a top finish last Saturday at the Genesee Invitational.

IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City girls’ cross country team pulled up first among Division 1 entries last Saturday at the Genesee Invitational.
Imlay City’s winning output was 52 points.
Jessica Denver led Imlay City with a first-place finish. It took her 20:33.19 to cover the territory.
McKinzie Winget, second, 21:36.39; Sydney Kapushinski, fifth, 22:56.42; and Kaylee Kaminski, ninth, 22:56.42; gave Imlay City top-ten showings as well.
Imlay City also counted Mary Kaminski’s, 12th, 24:15.13.
