Nancy Rudzinskas, age 73, of Imlay City, MI died Monday, August 26, 2019 at Ascension Providence Rochester of Rochester Hills, MI. Nancy Jean Rock was born May 30, 1946 in Detroit, MI. She was the daughter of the late Stuart and the late Thelma Viola (Hortop) Rock. Nancy was a graduate of Clawson High School, Class of 1964. She attended classes to learn to be a licensed beautician. She married George Victor Rudzinskas on April 11, 1970 in Clawson, MI. She was predeceased by her husband, George, in February 1998.
Prior to retirement, she had worked at Shear Hair in Imlay City as a beautician and nail technician. Nancy enjoyed gardening, cooking and caring for her dogs.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Robert) Baker of Lapeer, MI; her sons, Scott (Rebekah) Rudzinskas of Rochester Hills, MI and Daniel Rudzinskas of Imlay City, MI; and grandchildren, Ethan Rudzinskas, Tyler (Maddy) Coudret, Chase Coudret, Paige Baker and Isabella Rudzinskas. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, George; a brother, David Rock; and her parents, Stuart and Thelma Rock.
The funeral services were held on Friday, August 30 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Reverend Jack Davidson, pastor of the Bible Truth Apostolic Church in Rochester Hills, officiated.
A private burial took place in White Chapel Memorial Cemetery, Troy on Saturday, August 31, 2019.
