ALMONT — The Almont girls’ golf team earned a first-place finish at a Blue Water Area Conference Tournament last Wednesday.
Richmond Forest Golf Course is where the action unfolded.
Almont’s pacesetting total was a 192. Armada (219), Yale (232), Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest (233) and Richmond (266) held
down spots two through five.
Imlay City also participated but did not field a complete squad.
Jesse Hellebuyck led Almont with a medalist round of 44 over nine holes. She was backed by Brandi Kautz (45) and Lydia Schlanderer (48). Riley Wranosky and Hannah Revoldt (55 each) shared their fourth and final scoring position.
Abigail Fox represented Imlay City that day. Fox shot a 71.
