Thank you Gateway Family for all your giving!
We were able to reach 3,879 people during the course of the week. The people of Gateway Assembly came together and provided almost $100,000 for this event by giving in special offerings.  Because of their generous giving, we were able to do the following:  gave away $15,248 in FREE gas, which included a full tank for 241 Veterans and 26 First Responders; gave away two semi-trailer loads of groceries to 254 families; gave away 421 backpacks filled with school supplies; passed out tons of clothing; did 41 oil changes and auto inspections; gave 110 haircuts; did 57 children vision screenings, 32 health checks and 33 sports physicals; gave away 7 bikes, 2 RC cars, 1 Nintendo Switch, 2 gift baskets and several gift cards. Helped many senior citizens and veterans with home repairs, yard work, vehicle repairs, and provided a washer/dryer set. Helped a widow with a new washer, purchased full-size mattress sets for two people without beds; built two wheelchair ramps, and purchased one water heater. Currently we are in the process of renovating and purchasing new kitchen appliances for the Hispanic Center Homeless Shelter in Imlay City.  Because of the generosity of our congregation as well as the above individuals and businesses, all of these things were absolutely FREE to the community!
The heart of this ministry is to meet the needs of our community through love, acts of service, and providing resources to empower all people.
 Sincerely,
