It is with much sadness, a tragic house fire took the lives of Keith II, Keyondre, KeyannaRae and Keyairah Kelley, beloved children of Krystal I. Whitney and Keith Kelley, Sr.
The first born was Keith L. Kelley, II., on May 21, 2012. He enjoyed playing video games and loved superheroes.
The second little boy in the family was born June 29, 2013, Keyondre L. Kelley. He loved playing video games and his favorite superhero was Spider-Man.
KeyannaRae was born June 5, 2015 and she loved the movie Frozen and her Troll dolls.
Keyairah, was a beautiful baby born just a month before her passing.
These four little angels were taken much to soon.
They leave to mourn their beloved mother Krystal Whitney, father Keith L. Kelley, Sr. Also surviving many extended family members and friends.
The Whitney/Kelley families have truly been touched by the outpouring of support during this very difficult time. The family would like to thank the Fire Department, the First Responders, and the Imlay City Police Department for all of their dedication and efforts to care for the family’s needs. There has been a lot of emotional and financial support from many community members including the management and fellow residents of Maple Grove, local businesses and organizations including Venture Global Engineering Foundation. The family truly appreciates the community support, it has carried them during these most devastating moments.
A Celebration of Life Memorial was held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Lamb Steele Park. The day was filled with sharing memories, therapeutic memorial art projects for the children and closed with a memorial celebration service. Again, gratitude and sincere appreciation was felt at the Memorial. Many hearts were touched and everyone’s efforts and outpouring of love will never be forgotten.
