Patricia Wiser, age 84, of Imlay City, MI died Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital. Patricia Ann Hepfinger was born May 13, 1935 in Detroit, MI. She was the daughter of the late Charles and the late Helen (Gilliam) Hepfinger. She grew up in Detroit, MI. Pat graduated from McKenzie High School in Detroit, Class of 1954.She married Wesley Roy Wiser on July 15, 1955 in Detroit, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wes, on February 26, 2013. Wes and Pat moved their family to a farm north of Imlay City in 1968. Pat worked at the Imlay City Motel as a housekeeper for 15 years from the late-1970s until the mid-1990s and for several years as a teacher’s aide at the Bancroft Street Intermediate School and at the Borland Road School in Imlay City.
Pat is survived by three daughters, Lynn Kreiner of Brown City, MI, Sherry (Tom) Bissett of Lum, MI and Shawn Wiser of Imlay City, MI; one son, Roy Wiser of Imlay City, MI; and one brother, Albert Hepfinger of Westland, MI. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Tiffany (Kyle) Wright, Kevin (Tiffany) Kreiner, Kayla (Kraig) Medina, Thomas “Chip” Bissett, Sara (Robert) Hoell and Trevor Bissett; and great-grandchildren, Austin, Kody, Kamden, Brandon, Haileigh, Avrie, Quinn, Ella and Finley.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Roy Wiser; her son-in-law, Raymond Kreiner; and son, William “Bill” Wiser.
The funeral service was held Saturday, August 3, 2019, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Officiating was Pastor Jerry Schriber. Burial followed in Arcadia Township Cemetery, Lum, MI.
