Daniel Kelley, age 57, of Brown City, MI died Monday, August 5, 2019 at McLaren Port Huron Hospital. Daniel Lee Kelley was born March 26, 1962 in Roseville, MI. He was the son of the late Bernard and the late Phyllis (Malbouef) Kelley. He grew up in the Imlay City area. Daniel graduated from Imlay City High School, Class of 1981. He continued his education at Western Michigan University and earned a Bachelor of Business degree.
He was a self-employed building contractor. Daniel owned and operated Rock Solid Brick Paving for 15 years. He also was a truck vendor for the past 1-1/2 years. Early is his career, Daniel managed Sibley Shoe Stores at Courtland Center Mall in Flint, MI and at Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights, MI.
Daniel is survived by two sisters, Colleen (Matthew) Finch of Imlay City, MI and Michelle (Steve) Goebel of Cuero, TX; one brother, Michael Kelley of Capac, MI; and his nephews, Carter, Easton, Peyton and Parker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Phyllis Kelley.
The family will be available for visitation 1-4 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2019 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
