We are very fortunate to have a local newspaper that, in my opinion, is honest and trustworthy. In the past we have found the paper to be very objective in reporting the facts and not what people may want to hear or, as some call it, fake news.
The article about Father Eduard Perrone (“Former Capac priest placed on restrictions” published in the July 10 edition of the Tri-City Times) was based on a press release from the Archdiocese of Detroit and nothing more or less.
The truth will be told no doubt in my mind. Anyone who has known Father Perrone knows that he is a very holy priest. My husband and I were told how fortunate we were when we moved to Capac and were in his parish.
He is well known and respected by many in the Detroit area as a humble and holy priest.
