Donald Frederick Smith, 87, of Mussey Township died Saturday, July 20, 2019, at home. He was born November 9, 1931, in Detroit the son of the late Dugald and Mabel (McColl) Smith. Donald taught at the Capac Jr. High and High Schools for 44 years until his retirement in 1998. He was a football, basketball, and baseball coach for 45 years.
He was a parishioner of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Dryden.
Surviving is a sister Ms. Margaret Smith of Capac and many friends.
His family honored the memory of Donald Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac. Rev. Richard Kriesch, pastor of Church, officiated.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to “Friends of Capac Library or St. John’s Episcopal Church”.
