Thomas G. Sadler was born August 31, 1951 in Muskegon, MI and died at home on July 16, 2019.
He lived his entire life in Dryden and Almont with Diane, his loving wife of 47 years.
Tom’s first career was working alongside his father, Tom, publishing the Almont Times / Tri-City Times.
After the sale of the paper, Tom and Diane bought and operated the Kommunity Kracker Barrel for 23 years.
The third chapter of his career was as a certified residential real estate appraiser.
One constant in Tom’s life was his deep and abiding love for his wife Diane. Ever by his side she epitomized ‘for better or for worse, in sickness and in health.’
Tom continued to serve his neighbors and community as Treasurer of the Almont Lions Club and the Almont Township Board of Review.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Nola Sadler; his sister, Mari Sadler and brother-in-law, Gari Middleton.
Tom is survived by his wife, Diane; brother, Tim (Teena) Sadler; brother, Ted (Amy) Sadler; aunt, Doris Turner; sister-in-law, Fran Revell; sister-in-law, Denise (Dana) Harper; sister-in-law, Robin (Tom) Stebbins; niece, Michele Sadler; nephew, Michael (Shelley) Sadler; grand-nephew, Harvey Sadler; and many more nephews, nieces and cousins.

A memorial service and celebration of Tom’s life will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the Almont Lions Hall, 222 Water Street, Almont, MI 48003.
