, age 67, of Imlay City, MI died Sunday, July 21, 2019 at her home. Alexandra Linda Edmiston was born February 6, 1952 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of the late John and Lillian (Butler) Edmiston. Sandy grew up in Detroit, MI. She lived in several cities throughout the years: St. Clair Shores, Sterling Heights, Brown City for 15 years, and moved to the Imlay City area in 2015. Sandy married Vito Pete Adragna on April 19, 2002 at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Shelby Twp., MI.
She was employed as a retail sales clerk by Toys R Us in Sterling Heights, MI for 20 years.
Sandy was a member of the Peck American Legion Auxiliary, a life member of American Legion Riders Post 489, and the Better Breathers Club of McLaren.
She is survived by her husband, Vito Adragna; one daughter, Sherrie (Nathan) McCune-Logan of Dryden, MI; two sons, Roger (Marcie) McCune of Macomb, MI and Matthew (Shannon) Benjamin McCune of Capac, MI; stepson, Joseph Adragna of Imlay City, MI; her stepdaughter, Susan (George) Manolius of Sterling Heights, MI; mother, Lillian Edmiston; one sister, Laura Cole; three brothers, Bruce Edmiston, David Edmiston and Arthur Edmiston; nine grandchildren, Stacy, Nick, Allie, Caylee, Carter, Jake, Katie, Baylee and Amanda; and two great-grandchildren, Ryleigh and Logan.
Sandy was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelia Jean McCune; and her grandson, Jonathan Manolius.
The funeral will be held at 6:30 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2019 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Pastor Tim Martin, Pastor of New Life Christian Church in Attica, MI, will officiate.
The family will be available for visitation 2-5 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, July 26 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 2-5 p.m. at Peck American Legion Hall, 5894 Cass Road, Peck, MI, 48466.
