Mary Jo Dewey, age 65, a lifelong resident of Imlay City, died Wednesday June 19, 2019. She was born March 30, 1954 to Keith and Mary Lou (Heacock) Winslow.
Mary graduated from Imlay City High School, where she met her husband Rodney Dewey. They were married on June 17, 1988 at the Imlay City First Congregational Church. She remained heavily involved with the church over the years and also spent time learning about the history of her community at the Imlay City Historical Society.
Mary Jo is survived by her husband, Rodney Dewey of Imlay City; brothers, Dan (Carol) Winslow and Bradley (Stephanie) Winslow; brother-in-law, Michael (Margy) Dewey; and nieces and nephews, Scott, Teresa, Evan, Marshall, Rachel, Elizabeth and Christopher. Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Mary Lou (Heacock) Winslow.
There will be a private family memorial service to be scheduled at a later date.
Cremation services have been entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home.
