IMLAY CITY — Imlay City absorbed an 11-7 loss to visiting Armada in the opener of a scheduled Blue Water Area Conference varsity softball doubleheader it hosted last Thursday.
Abigail Thibodeau (a single and a triple) and Natalie Douglas (a pair of singles) put up Imlay City’s top plate credentials. The remaining Spartan
hits went to Makenzie Hayward, Jaya Forti, Leah Dawson, Isabella Barker, Skylar Stone and Emma Sellers (a single each).
The latter half of the doubleheader was not played, due to a lack of time to get the entire contest in. It will be contested at a later date.
With the outcome, Imlay City now stands 0-1 as far as BWAC battles are concerned.
