Mary Ann Asaro, age 65, of Almont, MI died Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Ascension Providence Rochester of Rochester Hills, MI. Mary Ann Asaro was born March 11, 1954 in Hancock, MI. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Eiler and the late Amelia (Muhlbauer) Eskelinen. Mary grew up in the Utica area. She was a graduate of Utica High School, Class of 1972. She married Louis Leo Asaro on March 4, 1972 in Shelby Township, MI.

Mary was the office manager for Esko Sheet Metal & Roofing Co. in Utica, MI (a family owned company). Mary was the treasurer for the Imlay City Eagles Auxiliary. She had been a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Romeo and later of the Family of Christ Lutheran Church in Imlay City. Mary enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends, socializing, camping, cooking, dancing, playing euchre and helping others.

She is survived by her husband, Louis Leo Asaro; three daughters, Stacy (Timothy) Cohoon of Imlay City, MI, Crystal (Matthew) Schultz of Attica, MI and Heather (Corey) Michals of Columbiaville, MI; and two sons, Louis (Traci) Asaro of Allenton, MI and Jason Asaro of Almont, MI. Also surviving are her sisters, Diana (Stan) Monroe, Linda (Jesse) Cortez; her brothers, Horst (Christine) Binzer, Gary (Barb) Binzer, Bill (Joan) Eskelinen, Andrew (Sue) Eskelinen, Steve Eskelinen; twelve grandchildren, Abey, Shelby, Marissa, Jacob, Alana, Hunter, Hailey, Cameron, Noah, Vivian, Cody and Colton; and one great-grandchild, Jalen.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

The memorial service was held Tuesday, April 9 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
