Bruce Reside, age 88, of Attica, MI died Friday, April 5, 2019 at Heatherton Place Assisted Living of Imlay City, MI. Bruce Alfred Reside was born February 9, 1931 in Goodland Twp., MI. He was the son of the late Kenneth Martin and the late Lena Mae (Blackmore) Reside. Bruce grew up and lived most of his life in the Imlay City area. He was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1949. Bruce married Ruth Elaine Steinberg on March 31, 1951 in Lapeer, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, on January 23, 2019. He was employed as a machine tool repairman by ITT – Higbie in Rochester, MI. Bruce continued to farm the family farm; raising beef cattle and growing crops to feed them and sell at market. He was a hard worker and loved to spend time with his family. Bruce was a member of the Full Gospel Businessmen and the International Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship. Bruce liked to hunt and fish. He was a good baseball player and played in the baseball minor leagues and loved to watch and discuss anything baseball.

Bruce is survived by his daughter, Linda Reside McMillan of Attica, MI; his son, Martin (Lisa) Reside of Leonard, MI; his seven grandchildren, Joe (Joy) McMillan of Merrill, MI, Joshua (Francesca) Reside of West Virginia, Jonathon Reside of Leonard, MI, Andrew Reside of Ann Arbor, MI, Jeff (Martha) McMillan of Louisiana, Chad (Becky) McMillan of North Carolina and Carrie (Nick) Clark of Grand Blanc, MI. Also surviving are ten great-grandchildren.

He was recently preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Reside; three brothers, Earl Reside, Neal Reside and Wayne Reside; and an infant sister.

The funeral was held Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Harold Hamlin officiated. Interment was at Dawn Memorial Cemetery Monday, April 8, 2019.
