I have tried to write this letter several times over the last two weeks. Each time, I closed my laptop and said, “The words will come to me tomorrow.” Well, I still haven’t found enough words to sufficiently thank the community of Imlay City for making the past 9 years of my life so professionally and personally fulfilling.

I have made long-lasting relationships with tremendous people, individuals who are true champions of small town America.

I have worked side-by-side with volunteers dedicated to bringing the very best event to the community, no matter how many hours it might take.

I have been blessed with coworkers, board members, merchants, and local organizations who understand what it takes to create a place where people want to live, work, and play. This one-time city girl owes all of you a big ‘Thank You’ for showing me what neighbors do for one another and what community is all about.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
