IMLAY CITY — Imlay City upset visiting Cros-Lex, 43-39, in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity boys’ basketball battle it hosted last Friday night.

With the decision, Imlay City improves to 7-9 and 4-8. Cros-Lex falls to 12-4 and 8-4.

The next two quarters saw Imlay City generate 17 total points and Cros-Lex manage 16, trimming their deficit to 32-26 with 24 minutes elapsed.

Imlay City then outscored Cros-Lex 17-7 from that point on, earning a heartstopping 43-39 win.

For Imlay City, Parker Lewis led the way with 17 points. Logan Wilson and Hunter Medrano followed with 10 points each. Lonnie Wolford and Riley Bertram added four and two points, respectively, for the Spartans.
