ALMONT — Almont earned a 46-42 road win at Armada’s expense in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity boys’ basketball clash last Friday night.
With the outcome, Almont moves to 10-5 and 7-3.

The middle two quarters saw Armada amass 25 total points and Almont manage 17. That left them with a 33-24 advantage with 24 minutes gone.
Almont then outscored Armada 22-9 from that point on, good for a 46-42 win at night’s end.
Austin Watt and Cameron Asaro led Almont with eight points each. They were backed by Gabe Bourdeau (seven points, including a trifecta), Atte Vuoristo (six) Mike Rinke (five), Joey Savel (a triple), Rafael Farias and Colby Schapman (three apiece), Brett Wrobel (two) along with Matt McFarlane (one).
