DRYDEN — Dryden registered a 53-34 triumph against Madison Academy in a non-conference varsity boys’ basketball matchup it hosted last Friday night.
With the verdict, Dryden now stands at 8-3 overall.
In Friday’s matchup, Dryden charged out to a 15-6 advantage after one quarter was over with.
The middle two quarters saw Dryden accumulate 29 total points and Madison Academy manage 21. That staked them to a 44-27 cushion with 24 minutes elapsed.
Dryden then outscored Madison Academy 9-7 the rest of the way, closing out a 53-34 win.
Jack Kaplan (20, including a trifecta) and Nate Schenkel (11) supplied Dryden’s highest point totals. They were given assistance in the scoring department by Coulter Waite (nine points, featuring a trey), Ronny Hudson (eight), Mitch Gill (four) and Brendan Montague (one).
