Feys is coming from a successful 2018 campaign which saw Almont post a 9-0 regular season record (believed to be the 10th time in school history their varsity has ended the regular season portion of their schedule unbeaten) as well as a pacesetting 7-0 showing versus Blue Water Area Conference foes.

Almont also reached the Division 5 state playoffs, advancing to the district championship clash where they were defeated by Frankenmuth.

The team finished the 2018 campaign as owners of a 10-1 overall mark.
