CAPAC — The Capac wrestling team claimed a pair of wins last Wednesday at Vassar High School.
Capac started things off with a 48-30 victory over Vassar.
Shane Hoffmann, Nathan Schocke, Robert Grant and Jared Schocke led Capac with triumphs by pin. Hoffmann needed 1:02 to defeat 112-pound foe Winter Green; Nathan Schocke required 33 seconds to stop Adria Ray at 119 pounds; Grant took 1:04 to beat 152-pound counterpart Connor Rayment; and Jared Schocke needed 10 seconds to down Ian Sutherland at 285 pounds.
Max Frangedakis (103), Hunter Tyson (125), Hunter Thorner (140) and Bryce Tank (215) tacked on wins by void to Capac’s cause.
Capac also faced Ubly that evening, pulling out a 36-33 victory.
Thorner paced Capac with a victory via the pinfall route. He required 1:28 to defeat Austin Burk at 140 pounds.
Frangedakis (103), Hoffmann (112), Nathan Schocke (119), Ben Rodriguez (125) and Ethan Bastian (145) added triumphs by void to Capac’s cause.
